Judging Criteria for Projects
Hello, I received a few questions on the judging criteria so I wanted to post them here as we get closer to the submission deadline of August 23 at 8 pm Pacific Time.
Our judges will evaluate projects on the following criteria (for a total of 100 points):
- Technical Implementation (35 points): How well the idea was executed by the developer and how well the TiDB Serverless & Vector Search features were leveraged.
- Quality/Creativity of the Idea (25 points): How creative and unique is the project? If the concept exists already, how much does the project improve on it?
- User Experience of the Application (20 points): Is the application easy to use? Is the user experience of the application well thought out?
- Documentation Quality (10 points): Is there adequate documentation and are instructions clear on how to use the application?
- Quality of the Demo Video (10 points): Does the video show the app functioning on the device it was built for and are explanations clear? Is the video smooth and under 4 minutes?
If you have any questions, please post them on our Discord channel (there's a "community-support" channel under Hackathon 2024). Best of Luck!
