Some Tips for your Demo Video
Hi Everyone,
As the submission dealine (August 23 at 8 pm Pacific Time) for the Hackathon is approaching, we wanted to share a few tips on your demo video. As you can see from our judging criteria, the quality of your video is worth 10 points (out of a total of 100), so it can have an impact on your total score.
First, here are a couple of requirements:
- Please make sure your video is under 4 minutes. Longer videos will negatively impact your score.
- Your video on YouTube needs to be viewable by anyone. Your video can be unlisted, but it needs to be viewable by the video link.
Some suggestions:
- In the video, you can include slides to go along with the your application demo.
- Discuss the target audience for your project and what problems you are solving.
- Talk about how TiDB Serverless and TiDB Vector Search was used in your project.
- You can also discuss any challenges you experienced and how you overcame them.
Finally, please remember that even after you submit your project, you can continue to edit and refine your submission until the submission deadline of August 23 at 8 pm Pacific Time.
Best Regards,
TiDB Hackathon Team
